The Lock Haven football team is set to open the 2025 season on Saturday (Sept. 6) night at Hubert Jack Stadium. The Bald Eagles will host Glenville State at 6 p.m. in what will serve as the head coaching debut for first-year head coach Joe Battaglia.

- Tickets can be purchased at Hubert Jack Stadium on game day – with a card (no cash).
- A credit card service fee of will be applied to all transactions.
- Individuals who purchase tickets prior to game day will be required to show purchase of proof via receipt.
 
All Lock Haven Athletic Home Events and Facilities have a NO PET POLICY and only service animals will be allowed in.
 
Tailgating
The tailgate lot will open at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Parking/Transportation
There will be no general parking at the stadium on Saturday.

Fans are encouraged to park for free in the Zimmerli Lots (Lot No. 8, and 16). Starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday, a free shuttle will be available to transport fans from the Zimmerli Lot Area (Lot No. 8) to the stadium. The game day shuttle will run from 4-10 p.m. from the Zimmerli Lot Area to Hubert Jack Stadium. Additionally, handicapped parking will be limited at the stadium on game day.

Tailgaters are reminded that tailgating spaces will be parked in order of arrival and that there will not be spaces saved for other tailgaters.

Reminder for Lock Haven students, faculty and staff: The parking lot at Hubert Jack Stadium will be closed, Friday, Sept. 5, at 9 p.m. and will remain closed until 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, when the lot will be opened for tailgating at Saturday's home football game. The Bald Eagles are set to host Glenville State at 6 p.m. Vehicles not removed from the Hubert Jack Stadium parking lot by 9 p.m. on Friday may be towed at the owner's expense.

News, Notes & Storylines:
- For the second straight season Lock Haven will open vs. Glenville State. Last year on the road, the Bald Eagles downed Glenville State, 31-9. The Haven led 28-7 at halftime and rushed for 270 total yards.
- The Bald Eagles are coming off back-to-back five-win seasons. The 10 wins in two seasons are the most in back-to-back campaigns since 1981-1982. Lock Haven's last winning season was 44 years ago in 1981 (6-4).
- Saturday marks a new era for Lock Haven as head coach Joe Battaglia make his head coaching debut. Coach Battaglia was officially announced as the new head coach on April 15 after three seasons as the offensive coordinator. Under Battaglia's leadership, The Haven led the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in rushing (2023) and passing (2024).
- In 2024, quarterback Jackson Ostrowsky finished the season with 3,203 passing yards, 291.18 passing yards-per-game and 27 passing-touchdowns, all of which led the PSAC. All of those marks also stand as Lock Haven single-season passing records. Ostrowsky returns to lead the way for Lock Haven.
- In 2023, current Las Vegas Raiders (NFL) running back Chris Collier earned multiple All-American honors and was named PSAC Offensive Player of the Year, after leading the league in rushing and breaking the Lock Haven football program record for single-season rushing yards (1,393).
- Both Ostrowsky (2024) and Collier (2023) where nominated for the Harlon Hill award, which is given to the top player in Division II football and equivalent the Heisman trophy at the DI level.

Up Next:
Lock Haven will travel to IUP on Saturday, Sept. 13. The PSAC East-West crossover will start at 4 p.m.

The Road Ahead:
During Week 3 (Saturday, Sept. 20) action, Lock Haven will travel to nationally-ranked Cal (Pa.). The Bald Eagles will return home on Sept. 27 to open PSAC East action vs. East Stroudsburg. The full 2025 Lock Haven football schedule is available at LockHavenAthletics.com.
