SHEPHERD, W.Va. – The Lock Haven women's soccer team fell this afternoon (Saturday, Sept. 6) to No. 8 Shepherd in its Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) opener.
The Haven held the nationally-ranked Rams off the scoreboard through 45 minutes, but Shepherd scored a pair of goals in the second half on its way to victory.
The Bald Eagles attempted five shots (three on goal) throughout the match, led by two from
Makayla Grace Weber.
In net, junior
Riley Houck recorded 10 saves in the contest.
The Bald Eagles move to 1-1 (0-1 PSAC) on the season after opening the year with a 1-0 victory at California (Pa.). Shepherd improves to 2-0.
