YOUNGSTOWN LAST CHANCE MEET
SU VALENTINE INVITATIONAL
YOUNGSTOWN/SELINSGROVE, Ohio/Pa. – The Lock Haven men's indoor track and field team returned to action by sending athletes to the Youngstown Last Chance Meet on Friday, Feb. 13 and the Susquehanna University Valentine Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 14.
Youngstown Last Chance Highlights:

Josiah Schans broke his own previous Lock Haven record in the 60-meter hurdles. His impressive 8.01 seconds earned him fifth place. In the same event
Matt Reinard recorded an 8.48 which qualifies him for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships.
- Two Bald Eagles earned PSAC qualifiers in the 400m:
Myka Simmons (49.55) and Cam Lewis (49.76).
- Lock Haven impressed in the 800m headlined by
Brayden Frair who ran a 1:54.07 and finished third.
Anden Atkins (7
th, 1:54.94), Ridge Snider (9
th,1:55.65),
Gavin Furey (12
th, 1:56.69) and
Jarrett Lee (15
th, 1:57.11) all recorded PSAC Championships qualifying times.

Kristian Mizdail finished 10
th in the mile with a 4:20.35 and reached the PSAC Championships qualifying mark.

Jakob Rager continues to impress in the 3000m. Rager's 8:31.21 earned him a second-place finish and PSAC Championship qualifying mark.

Eric Zalar took fifth in the weight throw with a 60-02.00, claiming him a PSAC Championship qualifier and an NCAA provisional mark.

Shawn Hertzog and
Ben Streator tied for fourth in the high jump by clearing 5-10.
Next up for The Haven:
The Bald Eagles will return to competition on Friday, Feb. 20 and will travel to Penn State and/or Cornell.
