Box Score MORGANTOWN, W.Va. –  The Lock Haven baseball team (1-5) returned to Morgantown, West Virginia for day two of the Atlantic Region Crossover for a non-conference game against Lake Erie (1-8) on Saturday, Feb. 28. The Haven could not outlast the Storm, falling in 11 innings 11-10.
 
Lock Haven pushed across 10 runs for the second consecutive game, despite going 0-2 in both games.
 
Cayden Robertson (2-for-5, 2B, 2 R, 2 RBI's) and Ethan Nagy (2-for-6, R, 2 RBI's) led The Haven offense.
 
Jackson Bower, Tom Rohan, Zachary McEllroy, Nick Negola, and Jamie Martoccio also collected base knocks in the contest.
 
Brady Myers got the ball for The Haven, pitching 3.1 innings, allowing four runs on four hits and six strikeouts.
 
Michael Mariano Jr., Nate Mostosky, Andrew Kramer, Caleb Zimmerman, and Evan Schmelz came out of the bullpen for relief, combining for 7.2 innings, five earned runs, and nine strikeouts.
 
Despite going down four runs in the first, the Bald Eagles answered with four runs of their own between the first four innings, thanks to a two-RBI single by Robertson and a sacrifice fly by Gardner Fravel.
 
The Storm fired back with three more runs, breaking the tie, going up 7-4 heading into the eighth inning.
 
The Bald Eagles stormed back in the eighth, scoring from a Martoccio single, two bases loaded walks, an error, and another single by Nagy, making it 10-7 Lock Haven.
 
Lake Erie pushed across three more runs, tying it in the ninth inning, and eventually winning the game in the eleventh inning.

The Bald Eagles will return to action on Saturday, Mar. 7 and travel back to West Virginia to take on Salem University in a four-game set. First pitch slated to be 1:00 PM.
