SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven baseball team fell to Shippensburg, 22-6 and 10-3, in a non-conference doubleheader on Saturday.
Lock Haven falls to 2-12, while the Raiders improve to 12-4
Game 1: Shippensburg 22 – Lock Haven 6
In game one, the Bald Eagle offense secured 11 base knocks.
Jerry Lambert (2-for-2) was the lone multi-hit Bald Eagle, while
Wyatt Harrar,
Braden Cummings,
Tom Rohan,
Dylan Metzgar, and
Cayde McCloskey each drove in runs for The Haven.
Game 2: Shippensburg 10 – Lock Haven 3
Lock Haven had an early 3-1 lead thanks to a Cummings RBI triple in the third and an RBI triple from
Kellen Jackson in the fifth.
Cummings,
Robert Furino, and
Gardner Fravel each had two hits.
Andrew Kramer secured a quality start for The Haven, tossing five strong innings on 11 hits, six strikeouts, and only two earned runs.
