LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Offensive standout
Gabby Gunnip recorded eight points and starting goalkeeper
Gretchen King made 10 saves as the two Bald Eagles powered the Lock Haven lacrosse team to a 19-6 win over visiting Gannon (4-11, 1-7 PSAC West) today (Saturday, April 18) in an important late-season Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division clash.
The Bald Eagles improved to 9-5 overall and moved to 5-3 in PSAC West play after today's big win which extended The Haven's win streak to four games. Lock Haven completed the two-game season sweep of Gannon and also improved to 5-2 at home this season on the Charlotte Smith Field turf.
Gunnip scored five goals and dished out three assists and King made several sensational stops in a tightly contested first half. King's 10 saves led a strong defensive effort from a unit that only allowed one goal in the second half and pitched a fourth-quarter shutout.
Lock Haven led 10-5 at halftime and outscored the Golden Knights 9-1 in the second half.
Hadley Munn and
Lexi Bunk both scored four goals each, while
Makayla Kelly netted a hat trick.
Jordan Ellis scored twice and
Morgan McIntyre added one goal.
Brynlee Pinschenat was credited with two assists.
Lock Haven held a 21-13 advantage in ground balls.

With just two PSAC West contests remaining in the regular season, the Bald Eagles will return to action on Wednesday, April 22 at IUP (3 p.m.).

The Bald Eagles will close out the 2026 regular season on Saturday, April 25 at home vs. nationally-ranked Slippery Rock. The regular season finale is set for a noon start and marks Lock Haven's 2026 Senior Day.
