EMPORIA, Kan. – Josiah Schans of the Lock Haven men's outdoor track and field team is set to compete in the 110m Hurdles at the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
The national championships will be held May 21-23 at Francis G. Welch Stadium in Emporia, Kansas.
Schans will compete in the 110m Hurdles Prelims at 7:35 pm on Friday (May 22) with a chance to qualify for the 110m Hurdles Finals on Saturday (May 23) at 5:15 pm.

Schans is coming off a Lock Haven record-setting performance at the West Point Twilight (May 7) when he finished in 14.03. The junior also took home the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship in the event on May 2.
Schans enters the NCAA Championship ranked 19th in the country. He made his way into the field with his performance at the 60th Colonial Relays on April 2.
