2026 NCAA DII Softball Championships Info
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven softball team came in at No. 8 in the third edition of the NCAA DII Atlantic Region rankings released on Wednesday. The NCAA regional rankings are used to determine the teams that qualify for the NCAA Division II Softball Championships.
Six of the top-8 rankings are from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division, with Charleston (W.V.) and Glenville State making up the other two schools.

Today's rankings are the final from the NCAA before the tournament field is announced, which is set for Monday, May 11.
The Atlantic Region Championships will feature three automatic qualifiers – the tournament champions from the PSAC, MEC and CIAA – and five at-large selections.
2026 DII softball championship schedule:
- Selection show: Monday, May 11 at 10 a.m. on NCAA.com
- Regionals: Thursday, May 14 - Saturday, May 16
- Super Regionals: Thursday, May 21 - Friday, May 22
Lock Haven finished an impressive regular season with a 29-21 overall record and 17-15 mark in the PSAC East.
Following the regular season,
Blaire Balestrini (First Team Shortstop),
Hailey Irwin (Second Team Outfielder) and
Maci Brodzina (Second Team Utility) were named to the 2026 PSAC East All-Conference Team.
