LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven Athletics Hall of Fame Committee has announced the Class of 2026, which includes Rachel Clemens, Jim Dolan, Amy (Barger) Kriebel, Dean Kriebel, Jenna (Richter) Spatafore, Karen Weaver and the 2000 Field Hockey Team.

Rachel Clemens | Women's Soccer | Class of 2000
Rachel Clemens was one of the most productive players in Lock Haven women's soccer history, finishing her career as the program's all-time leader in goals (49) and points (117). She also ranks sixth in program history with 19 career assists.
 
Clemens' 17 goals in 1997 remain tied for the top single-season total in program history, while her 13 goals in 1996 are tied for fifth. A four-time All-PSAC selection, Clemens earned first-team recognition in 1996, 1997 and 1998 before collecting second-team honors in 1999. She was also an All-Region selection in each of her four seasons.
 
Clemens helped guide Lock Haven to a 54-21-5 record during her career. The Bald Eagles finished as PSAC runners-up in 1996 and 1997, reached the PSAC semifinals in 1998 and made history in 1999. During the 1999 season – her senior season, Lock Haven captured its first PSAC and NCAA Northeast Region championships, advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight and finished No. 5 nationally in the final coaches' poll.
 
Following her collegiate career, Clemens returned to her alma mater, Neshaminy High School, as a teacher and later served as the school's head girls soccer coach from 2010-13. She led Neshaminy to its first PIAA state championship and an undefeated 25-0 season in 2013, earning NSCAA, Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association and Southeastern Pennsylvania Coaches Association Coach of the Year honors. Clemens was inducted into the Neshaminy High School All-Sports Hall of Fame in 2017.
 
Jim Dolan | Cross Country and Track & Field | Emeriti (Health Science)
Jim Dolan made a lasting impact on Lock Haven cross country and track & field through more than 15 years of coaching, decades of teaching and a lifelong commitment to student-athletes. He served as Lock Haven's head cross country coach from 1969-85 and head track & field coach from 1970-75, and he helped co-found the women's cross country program in 1976.
 
During his coaching career, Dolan mentored four All-Americans and numerous PSAC medalists. His influence extended well beyond competition through his work as a physiology professor and, later, as professor emeritus. Dolan and his wife, Sue, have remained devoted supporters of Lock Haven cross country, regularly attending meets, hosting team picnics and providing financial support for four scholarships.
 
In 2007, Lock Haven established the annual Dolan Duals in his honor. The event, which features Lock Haven and Penn State, continues to recognize Dolan's enduring contributions to the sport and the university.
 
Before arriving at Lock Haven, Dolan excelled as a student-athlete at the University of Michigan. He set six school records across cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field, won the U.S. Track and Field Federation national 3-mile championship and received Michigan's Hazel M. "Doc" Losh Award in 1968 for outstanding athletic and academic achievement.
 
Amy (Barger) Kriebel | Women's Basketball | Class of 1991
Amy (Barger) Kriebel was a four-year starter and one of the most accomplished players in Lock Haven women's basketball history. She concluded her career with 1,343 points, 656 rebounds and a program-record 121 games played.
 
Kriebel remains among Lock Haven's career leaders, ranking fifth in points, field goals made and field goals attempted; second in field goal percentage; fourth in rebounds; and first in games played. At the time of her graduation, she ranked second in program history in scoring and field goals made, while setting the career field goal percentage record at .587.
 
A two-time first-team All-PSAC selection in 1989-90 and 1990-91, Kriebel also earned All-ECAC East Region and All-ECAC Regional Tournament Team honors in both seasons. She helped lead the Bald Eagles to four PSAC Final Fours, two PSAC championship games and the 1989-90 PSAC championship.
 
Lock Haven won a program-record 79 games during Kriebel's four-year career. Her teams made three NCAA Tournament appearances, advancing to the NCAA Division II Sweet 16 in 1988-89, the Elite Eight in 1989-90 and the Round of 32 in 1990-91. Kriebel's .587 career field goal percentage ranked seventh in PSAC history at the time of her graduation and remains among the conference's top 20 all-time.
 
Dean Kriebel | Men's Basketball | Class of 1990
Dean Kriebel established himself as one of the premier post players in Lock Haven men's basketball history during a four-year career that included 1,582 points and 784 rebounds. His scoring total set the program record upon his graduation in 1990 and still ranks fourth all-time.
 
A two-time All-PSAC selection, Kriebel also earned two All-ECAC East Region honors and was a two-time All-ECAC East Region All-Tournament Team selection. He helped lead Lock Haven to a school-record 83 victories, four PSAC Final Four appearances and two NCAA Tournament berths.
 
Kriebel remains one of the most decorated statistical leaders in program history. He ranks second in career rebounds and field goals made (626), fourth in career blocked shots (83) and fourth in career field goal percentage (.544). His 261 rebounds in a season and 225 made field goals in a season remain Lock Haven records, while his 574 points in a season rank second all-time.
 
After his Lock Haven career, Kriebel continued playing professionally. He reached the final cuts of the Philadelphia 76ers' 1990 free-agent and veterans camps, was drafted by the Grand Rapids Hoops of the Continental Basketball League and won a United States Basketball League championship with the Philadelphia Spirit. He later played for the Allentown Jets and Scranton Miners of the Atlantic Basketball Association, earning All-Star honors, winning the league's slam dunk contest and finishing as the runner-up in its 3-point competition.
 
Jenna (Richter) Spatafore | Women's Lacrosse | Class of 2008
Jenna (Richter) Spatafore was a cornerstone of Lock Haven women's lacrosse during one of the program's most successful eras. A two-time first-team IWLCA/U.S. Lacrosse All-American, Spatafore earned the honor in 2005 and 2007 and was also named a first-team Inside Lacrosse All-American in 2005.
 
Spatafore was also a four-time All-PSAC student-athlete and the conference's 2004 Rookie of the Year.
 
Spatafore finished her career with 166 goals, 147 assists and 313 points, ranking among the most prolific offensive players in program history. She ranks eighth all-time in career goals, fifth in career assists and fifth in career points.
 
Her versatility as both a scorer and facilitator is further reflected in Lock Haven's single-game record book, where her eight-goal performance is tied for fifth all-time. Spatafore consistently supplied production at the highest level while helping elevate the program on the national stage.
 
She helped lead the Bald Eagles to NCAA Division II Final Four appearances in 2005 and 2007, playing an important role in the program's emergence as a national contender.
 
Karen Weaver | Field Hockey | Class of 1980
Karen Weaver's impact on field hockey spans an exceptional playing career, championship coaching success and influential leadership within the sport. As a goalkeeper at Lock Haven, Weaver recorded 17 career shutouts and remains among the program's top five all-time leaders in career goals-against average at 0.61. She also ranks among the top 10 in PSAC history in the category.
 
Weaver's success as a player extended to the international level when she was selected to the 1980 U.S. Olympic field hockey team. The team did not compete in the Moscow Olympic Games because of the United States-led boycott.
 
She went on to become one of the sport's most accomplished collegiate coaches. Weaver led Salisbury State University to the NCAA Division III national championship in 1986 and was awarded the USA Today Coach of the Year, before serving as head coach at Ohio State University from 1987-96. At Ohio State, she guided the Buckeyes to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 1994.
 
Weaver also served as president of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association from 1987-91 and worked as a broadcast announcer and assistant producer for field hockey at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

She continues to contribute to sport and education as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Academic Director of The New Athletics Enterprise: Leadership, Risk, and Institutional Strategy certificate program at the University of Pennsylvania. UPenn's Higher Education Management program ranks in the top-three in the country. 

Weaver and her mother, Joanne Weaver, endowed a Lock Haven field hockey scholarship for over 20 years. 

Weaver also hosts a podcast called Trustees and Presidents: A Podcast for University Leaders on College Athletics and recently authored a book "Understanding College Athletics: What Campus Leaders Need to Know About College Sports".
 
2000 Field Hockey Team
Under Hall of Fame Head Coach Pat Rudy, the 2000 Lock Haven field hockey team finished a historic season with a 21-2-0 overall record and an 8-0-0 conference mark, capturing the NCAA Division II National Championship and the PSAC title.

The Bald Eagles defeated Bentley College with a final score of 2-0 to win the 2000 NCAA Division II National Championship. The match was held on November 5, 2000, at Charlotte Smith Field on Lock Haven's campus.
