KUTZTOWN, Pa. - The Lock Haven women's cross country team traveled to compete in the DII/DII challenge hosted by Kutztown University on Saturday morning. 
 
The Bald Eagles finished fourth (85 points) as a team at the DII/DIII challenge. Kutztown took the overall team win, scoring 26 points.
 
Leading the way for the Bald Eagles was Kaydence Strange, finishing eighth overall with a time of 24:14.3. Following closely behind was Nicole Carroll, finishing 12th overall with a time of 24:43.2.
 
Emily Black (25:27.6, 19th), Madeleine Guzevich (25:48.7, 22nd), and Natalie Jolley (26:03.5, 25th) round out the top 5 for the Bald Eagles for the day.

The Bald Eagles return home on Sept. 26 and will host the Lock Haven Invitational at the West Branch Cross Country Course.
