LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven women's soccer team picked up its fourth Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday evening at Hubert Jack Stadium.
 
The Bald Eagles improve to 5-4 overall and 4-3 in the PSAC and are a perfect 3-0 in front of the home crowd this season. Lock Haven's five wins are the most for the program since 2021. The Mountain Cats fall to 1-6-2, 0-5-2 in the PSAC.
 
Colleen Lloyd scored the match's only goal in the 42nd minute, finishing an assist from Sydney Linus for the game-winner.
 
Lloyd's strike came at the 41:43 mark, capping a first half in which Lock Haven held a 6-2 advantage in shots. Lloyd led all players with five shots, including three on target, and nearly doubled the lead in the 61st minute when she struck the right post.
 
Linus, who provided the assist on Lloyd's goal, recorded two shots in 68 minutes of action. Lily O'Brien also tested Pitt-Johnstown's goalkeeper with a pair of shots on goal in the second half.
 
Devon Mason earned her fifth shutout of the season, making six saves - including four in the second half - to preserve the clean sheet. The Bald Eagle defense limited Pitt-Johnstown to 10 shots, with Mason coming up big late in the match with multiple saves.
