LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven women's volleyball team continued its strong recent stretch Tuesday night, sweeping Millersville, 25-18, 25-17, 25-8 inside Thomas Field House.

The Bald Eagles improved to 10-5 overall and 3-1 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play with their fifth victory in their last six matches. Lock Haven has won nine of its last 11 matches overall.

Lock Haven controlled the match from the start, hitting .306 as a team while limiting Millersville to a -.044 hitting percentage. The Bald Eagles steadily pulled away in each set before closing out the match with a dominant third-set performance.

Madelyn Mitchell led Lock Haven offensively with 12 kills while hitting .286.
Reagan Irons added seven kills, and
Avery Smith also recorded seven kills while hitting .429.
Payton Stanton contributed four kills on six attacks without committing an error for a .667 hitting percentage.

Natalie Gibson helped direct the offense with 31 assists while also recording three kills, seven digs and a service ace.

Defensively,
Olivia Taylor continued to make an impact. The reigning PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week finished with a match-high 24 digs, helping anchor a Lock Haven defense that collected 55 digs as a team.

Lock Haven also received six digs from
Natalie Acevedo and seven each from Irons and Gibson.

Millersville fell to 3-10 overall and 0-6 in PSAC play.
