Lock Haven Athletics

Peter Ciesielski joined the Lock Haven football coaching staff ahead of the 2023 season (Aug. 2023) and will serve as a defensive assistant coach, working primarily with the outside linebackers.
 
Ciesielski attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh where he was a student-athlete, playing on both the defensive and offensive line for the Division I FCS Dukes. During his collegiate career, he helped the team win three Northeast Conference Division (NEC) titles to go along with two FCS playoff appearances. That playoff resume included winning the program’s first FCS playoff game in school history against Towson in 2018. 
 
Ciesielski earned a business degree in sports marketing from the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business in 2020.
 
After graduation he continued his coaching passion while taking on football coaching positions at all levels.  In 2021, he began coaching the offensive and defensive lines for his local high school - Marple Newtown.  At the same time in 2022, he interned with the Division 1 FCS Villanova University football team, learning all aspects of their equipment support operations, including mirroring the coaching staff in practice and game time preparations.
