Phil Hallahan

2017 Coaching Responsibilities: 
On-Field: Wide Receivers/Running Backs
Off-Field: Director of Alumni Relations/Fundraisting, Travel Coordinator


Hallahan joined the LHU football coaching staff in the summer of 2017 and will enter his first season with the Bald Eagles.
 
He will serve as the wide receiver and running backs coach at LHU, and comes to Lock Haven after 12 seasons at Lafayette College.
 
For the last eight seasons at Lafayette (2009-2016), Hallahan served as the running backs coach, director of football recruiting operations and director of community outreach. He also has significant special teams coaching experience and from 2005 to 2008 at Lafayette, he also worked directly with the wide receivers.
 
In all, he led nine running backs to All-Patriot League honors while at Lafayette and he helped the Leopards to the 2013 Patriot League title, and a spot in the NCAA FCS Playoffs that same season. In 2009, Lafayette ranked No. 15 in the nation in total offensive yards.
 
Hallahan also coached at Amherst College (running backs, June 2003 – March 2005) and worked as the head football manager at Syracuse University.
 
He’s a 2003 graduate of Syracuse (B.A., Consumer Studies).
