2017 Coaching Responsibilities:
On-Field: Defensive Backs/Special Teams Coordinator
Off-Field: Assistant Recruiting Coordinator, Video and Practice Operations
Young joined the LHU football coaching staff in the summer of 2017 and will enter his first season with the Bald Eagles.
He brings with him five years of collegiate coaching experience and will work primarily with the defensive backs.
Prior to joining LHU, Young spent four seasons at King’s College (2013, ’14, ’15 & ’16), where he served in a number of coaching roles including special teams coordinator, recruiting coordinator, defensive pass-game coordinator, defensive backs coach and the JV head coach. He also spent time working with the linebackers.
Prior to his time at King’s, Young coached at Kentucky Christian University, where he served as the running backs coach, recruiting coordinator and director of football operations.
Young played his collegiate football at Kentucky Christian before graduating in 2012 (B.S., Sports Management and Biblical Studies).
