On October 13, 2020, the Lock Haven University men's soccer team announced the addition of Kyle Hartman to the coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach.
Hartman, a Kutztown, Pennsylvania native is a former defensive standout under head coach Patrick Long (08’). Hartman started 45 games over his four-year Bald Eagle playing career. Â

A defensive stalwart along the backline, Hartman started 45 games during his time at LHU while also being named a captain during his senior year. Hartman helped lead the Bald Eagles to 10 wins in 2019, the most wins in a single-season since 2011. Â

Off the field, Hartman was a standout in the classroom as well, earning deans list honors in every semester spanning from 2016-2020. He also carries a GPA of 3.9 in pursuit of a Masters in Sport Science after finishing his bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration at Lock Haven.

Hartman brings with him great soccer experience working as a game day administer for Reading United A.C. Soccer Club of the USL League 2 over the summer months.Â
