Lock Haven Athletics

On October 13, 2020, the Lock Haven University women's soccer team announced the addition of Maria Mosquera to the coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach.

Hailing from Harrisburg Pennsylvania, Mosquera recently spent her collegiate playing days at University of Pitt-Johnstown bringing with her extensive soccer knowledge
 
As a goalkeeper at UPJ, Mosquera appeared in 33 games, starting 23 of them over her four-year career compiling a total of 173 saves.
 
During her senior year, Mosquera finished with 120 total saves, placing her at 20^th in all of division II. She also finished in the top 35 in saves per game averaging 6.67. Mosquera played a huge role in helping the UPJ women’s soccer team achieve their most Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) wins in school history a season ago.
 
Outside of soccer, Mosquera has spent time working as an athletic training intern, a psychical therapist intern with Western Pennsylvania Sports Medicine and an athletic training assistant on the campus of UPJ.
 
Mosquera brings with her a diverse background and will be a great addition on and off the field.
