Matthew McCormick

Matthew McCormick enters his second season (2018) as the graduate assistant coach for the LHU women’s soccer team.

Highlighting the 2017 season for the Bald Eagles was Jordan Shoff’s selection to the All-Conference Team. She was named to the All-PSAC Second Team as a defender.

In 2017, LHU went 6-11 overall and the Bald Eagles finished their run through PSAC play at 5-11 with conference wins over Edinboro, Pitt-Johnstown, Shippensburg, Mansfield and California. The team earned a 2017 United Soccer Coaches Team Ethics and Sportsmanship award. The Bald Eagles earned a Silver Award, which was based on a percentage (silver, 11-30 %) calculated by the total number of cards received by players/coaches divided by the team's total number of games played.

McCormick was named the women's soccer grad assistant in August (2017).

McCormick comes to The Haven after graduating from Wheeling Jesuit in the spring of 2017 with a degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing.

While at Wheeling Jesuit he was a four-year standout on the men’s soccer team as a goalkeeper. McCormick started 34 games, as he recorded 169 saves a Cardinal.
