Alumna Erica Pooler was named Lock Haven University’s new Director of Athletic Operations in October 2019.
Pooler, a former LHU softball player earned a degree in Health and Physical Education from LHU in 2015. She later earned her master’s degree in Sports Administration at The Haven in 2017.
While working toward her master’s, Pooler worked in the LHU Department of Athletics as a graduate assistant for Athletic Administration & Operations.
During her time working as the Athletic Administration & Operations assistant, Pooler served as an event manager for NCAA Division I and II events, oversaw student-workers, assisted with game-day promotions, served as a liaison to visiting opponents, helped organize university fundraising events, among many other duties.
Most recently, she was an assistant coach with the Lycoming College softball program. She started working with nearby Lycoming in August 2017 and helped lead the program to 20 wins in 2019.
