Garcia has had an impressive season thus far, winning five of his las six matches.
Against Rider, Garcia nationally edged No. 19 Clint Morrison, 9-8 in a thriller at 184 pounds.Garcia took down PSU's Wesley Phipps, 3-1 after a tough battle to seal a victory on Sunday, Nov. 24.
Garcia took second overall at the Mat Town Open yesterday (Sunday, Dec. 1) at 184. He finished 3-1 on the day, dropping the championship-bout to No. 1 Ed Ruth.
Garcia, one of Lock Haven’s national qualifiers from a year ago remains nationally ranked. He is ranked 15
th by the AWN and No. 19 by InterMat.
Lock Haven returns to action next Saturday, Dec. 7 at the 2013 PSAC Championship, hosted by Edinboro University.
