George Christas of the football team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways / GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

The Preseason All-American was all over the field for Lock Haven, leading the defense in Saturday’s win over Cheyney. The 28-0 shutout was LHU’s first shutout in 12 years. Christas finished with two tackles, two huge fumble recoveries and an interception (his second of the season).
