Senior Tim Getz (Lancaster, Pa. Lampeter-Strasburg) of the Lock Haven University men’s cross country team has been named the www.GoLHU.com Male Athlete of the Week.

Getz led the No. 13 Bald Eagles to a 39th place finish in the Men's Gold race at the 38th-annual Paul Short Run.

More than 5,000 runners from 450 colleges and high schools competed today at Lehigh University.

Lock Haven was 39th of 45 teams and Tim Getz (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) was The Haven's top finisher.

He was 156th out of 402 and covered the rolling 8K course with a time of 25:49.
