Michelle Holweger of the LHU softball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

Holweger was an offensive powerhouse in LHU’s two game sweep over Clarion. She went 4 for 6 with six RBIs over the two-game set. In game two, she was an outstanding 3 for 3 with two runs scored and five RBIs. In the two games LHU collected 19 hits and 16 scored runs.   

Holweger’s runs aided Lock Haven to two 8-0 victories and pushed softball’s overall record to 23-9.
