Avery Eddy of the LHU baseball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

The freshmen pitcher propelled LHU with two big conference W’s. Eddy threw 11 innings for LHU allowing just two runs, striking out seven and walking just one batter. Eddy went the distance in a 4-0 shutout win against Kutztown on Monday (April 9), allowing just one hit, no runs and striking out six batters.

Against Shippensburg Eddy threw four innings allowing just two runs in a 5-2 victory.  Eddy moves to 4-1 on the season and boasts a 1.73 ERA.
