Chance Marsteller of the LHU wrestling team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

Marsteller helped Lock Haven to a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship as he dominated the 165 pound bracket going a perfect 4-0 with three pins and a tech fall. For his dominating performance, he was named the tournament’s most outstanding wrestler.

In the first round vs Gavin Wilkerson of Mercyhurst, Marsteller got a pin just 26 seconds into the match. He followed that up with a pin of Alec Shaw of Seton Hill just 1:26 into the match. In the semifinals he earned a tech fall of Millersville’s Shane Ruhnke after a 16-1 finish. In the championship matchup against Michael Raccioppi of East Stroudsburg, Marsteller once again did not waste time as he pinned him 1:46 into the first period.
