Keyshawn D’Orso of the LHU baseball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

D’Orso led the Bald Eagles as they started their season on the road at Chowan for a four game series. LHU swept the first two game series before splitting on day two as they are 3-1 on the season. D’Orso was a major key in an offense that exploded. In all, they have 33 hits, 33 runs and eight home runs.

D’Orso hit .500 (5-10) with three of those hits being home runs, while driving in six RBI’s. He was very patient at the plate as he forced four walks while being hit by one pitch. The highlight game for him was the third game of the series as he clobbered two home runs which resulted in three RBI’s.
