Last weekend, at the PSAC Championships Slattery helped guide the Bald Eagles to their sixth title in LHU's rich history and the first for the team since 2009. The Bald Eagles went 4-1 this year at the tournament as they knocked off conference powers Shippensburg, Gannon, Kutztown and Gannon again in the championship.
She was named the 2019 Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player as she willed LHU to the conference title. At the tournament, Slattery went 3-1 in the circle with a 1.97 ERA. She struck out 55 batters and also earned a save in the championship game. That save, the 12th of her career, made her the all-time leader in saves in PSAC history. She also hit .454 with three home runs and four RBI's at the plate.
