Lock Haven Athletics

For the third straight week, Laurel Moyer of the regionally-ranked Lock Haven University women's cross country team has been named the weekly Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
 
Moyer once again led the way for the Bald Eagles as she turned in another brilliant early-season effort.
 
She battled the heat and large field, and finished 10th overall in the loaded 403-runner field.
 
Moyer covered Lock Haven's flat 6,000-meter course in an impressive 21:28.3. She was the second NCAA Division II finisher and the top finisher from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).
 
Her strong run helped Lock Haven finish fourth out of 37 teams in a stacked field that featured a number of ranked Division I, III and III teams.
 
Today marked the third straight week where Moyer has been named the athlete of the week by the PSAC for the sport of women's cross country.
