LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (9-6, 5-2 PSAC) earned a critical Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) win today at Hubert Jack Stadium as the Bald Eagles knocked off rival and 15th ranked Mercyhurst College (10-5, 4-4 PSAC) 2-1.

Senior Greg Shertzer (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) was the difference as he broke up a tightly contested match with two second-half goals.

The Lakers drew close after converting a penalty kick in the 83rd minute.

The win has Lock Haven sitting in third place overall in the PSAC standings.

Lock Haven travels to NYIT on Monday, October 24 at 2 p.m.
