#4 Lady Eagles stay perfect in PSAC play; roll past Ship 23-7

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The No. 4 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (4-0, 2-0 PSAC) improved to 2-0 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action as the Lady Eagles rolled on the road at Shippensburg University (1-3, 0-2 PSAC) 23-7.

Lock Haven's offense looked solid in its first real road test of the year and LHU outshot Ship 36-16.

Gwen Buss (Harrisburg, Pa./Mercersburg Academy) led the way today for LHU as she scored a game high five goals.

Buss led Lock Haven to a 15-5 halftime lead as she scored four of her five goals in the opening 30 minutes of play.

Jessica Pandolf (Holbrook, N.Y./;Sachem North) netted all four her goals in the opening half, as the Lady Eagles jumped on their hosts early.

Jaimie Uzialko (Lima, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) and Chelsea Borrino (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) both scored four goals in the win.

Playmaker Allison Berger (Oreland, Pa./Springfield) continued her sensational player, dishing out five assist. She also added a goal of her own.

Katie Zichelli (South Orange, N.J./South Orange) had another monster game on defense. She caused six turnovers and recorded six groundballs. She added two draw controls.

Heather Sacko (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) made six saves in goal.

The Lady Eagles return to action on Sunday, March 20 at No. 3 C.W. Post. The game is set for a 12 p.m. start.
