Bald Eagles edged 2-1 in overtime clash with Seton Hill

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –
The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (5-2) was edged by visiting Seton Hill (3-6) 2-1 today in overtime of the Bald Eagles non-conference clash with the Griffons.

Seton Hill took the 1-0 lead in the 34th minute despite Lock Haven holding the momentum early in the match.

With under four minutes to play in the half Adam Supplee (New Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) found the back end of Kevin Wolfe's (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) bending corner kick to tie the match at 1-1.

The pace picked up in the second half with both teams creating strong goal-scoring opportunities.

The contest remained deadlocked at 1-1 after 90 minutes, but just 5:37 into the first overtime Seton Hill netted the game-winner.

The loss is the just the second on the year for LHU, who is 1-1 at home on the season.

LHU goalie Chad Badorf (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) made four brilliant saves to keep Lock Haven in the match.

The Bald Eagles host PSAC rival East Stroudsburg on Friday, September 30 at 4 p.m.
