WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team fell to 0-2 on the year after dropping a hard-fought 1-0 decision at No. 2 West Chester University today in steady rain.

The Golden Rams, who are ranked second in the nation improved to 3-0 with the win.

After a scoreless first half, Melissa McKeary scored WCU's goal in the 53rd minute of play.

The Lady Eagles got a solid defensive effort down the stretch, but couldn't generate an equalizer.

Hayley Zinn (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing) was sensational in net for LHU and made 11 saves.

The Lady Eagles return to action on Saturday, September 10 at 3 p.m. when they host Millersville University.
