Box Score ERIE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (6-9-1, 2-6 PSAC) fell to Mercyhurst (11-5-1, 6-2 PSAC) 3-1 on the road today in PSAC action.

The host-Lakers jumped out to a 3-0 lead before Lock Haven finally got on the board in the 80th minute on a goal from Gregory Bretz (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg).

Three different players scored for Mercyhurst including Fernando Martinez, who put the Lakers up 3-0 in the 65th minute. Martinez had assisted the first two goals of the match for Mercyhurst.

Bretz's goal came off an assist from Jacob Oldaker (Elliottsburg, Pa./West Perry).

Haven goalie Chris Frederick (Woodsboro, Md./Walkersville) made five saves in 90 minutes of work.

Lock Haven closes out the 2012 season on Saturday, October 27 at noon when the Bald Eagles host rival Slippery Rock.
