LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (6-10-1, 2-7 PSAC) closed out the 2012 regular season with a 1-0 double-overtime loss to rival Slippery Rock (9-3-6, 4-3-2 PSAC).
It took 104-plus minutes of action to solve the tough-physical battle.
The Rock earned the win when Thad Madzelonka scored in the 105th minute.
Chris Davis chested a long ball into the box from Zach Hall down to a wide-open Madzelonka, who calmly slotted the ball far post from 10 yards out.
Jacob Oldaker (Elliotsburg, Pa./West Perry) led LHU with a pair of strong scoring opportunities.

Chris Frederick (Woodsboro, Md./Walkersville) was credited with one save in the loss.
Following the match, Lock Haven took a moment to honor its three Bald Eagle seniors in

David Qaisi (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley).
