LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University wrestling team (4-9) fell to local-rival Bucknell University (4-15) 28-13 tonight in non-conference action.

The Bald Eagles picked up three wins on the night including a major decision from John Trumbetti (Montvale, N.J./St. Joseph Regional).

Fred Garcia (Donora, Pa./Ringgold) won 6-2 at 184 to snap a five-bout Bison win streak and Harry Turner (Howell, N.J./Howell) won by forfeit at 285.

Trailing 3-0 after the opening bout of the night, Trumbetti went to work at 133. After just two periods, Trumbetti led BU's Bob Hauser 8-0 with 3:00 minutes of riding time. Trumbetti just missed the tech fall, winning 15-1 with over 4:30 of riding time.

Garcia used a four-point move with a minute left in the match to put Jamie Westwood away.

Lock Haven returns to action next Friday, February 17 at 7 p.m. when the Bald Eagles close out the home portion of their 2011-12 season against rival Bloomsburg.
