LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University baseball team (15-23-1) fell 16-11 on the road today in a single nine inning game to Mansfield University (11-30) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover matchup.
The Bald Eagles were clicking offensively all game, as they scored their 11 runs on 14 hits.
Cory Dorman (Mifflinburg, Pa./Alleghany College of Maryland) led LHU at the plate, as he went 2-for-4 with three RBIs.
Scott Zuback (Mill Hall, Pa./Central Mountain) also had a big game at the plate.  Zuback went 2-for-3 with a double.  He added two RBIs and scored four runs.
Kevin Cressman (Huntingdon, Pa./Mansfield University) and 
Dakota Roof (Towanda, Pa./Towanda) each went 2-for-3 on the day.  Cressman and Roof had two RBIs a piece and each scored a run.
Jay Hartman (Lewistown, Pa./Indian Valley) went 2-for-4 with one RBI and two stolen bases.
The two teams combined to throw 12 different pitchers in the game.  
Kyle Schubert (Factoryville, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) and 
Matt Hendrixson (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) each recorded two strikeouts for The Haven.
The Bald Eagles return to action Saturday, April 21 when they travel to Bloomsburg University for a PSAC crossover doubleheader.  LHU will host Bloomsburg on Sunday (April 22) when it celebrates the second annual Wounded Warrior game.
