Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa.  – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (0-0-1) kicked off its 2012 season today with a 0-0 tie at Shepherd (0-0-1).

Both teams battled hard throughout regulation and two overtimes, but neither was able to find the back of the net.

The Bald Eagles were able to get five shots on goal throughout the game, led by freshman Jacob Oldaker (Elliotsburg, Pa./West Perry) who had two.

LHU goalkeeper Chris Frederick (Woodsboro, Md./Walkersville) posted a solid game in net.  Frederick made seven saves on his way to the clean sheet.

The Bald Eagles return to action this Saturday (Sept. 1) when they travel to Seton Hill University.  Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
