#11 Lacrosse mounts second half comeback, but drops road game to #3 Limestone, 11-7

Borrino leads the way for LHU with two goals and three assists

Box Score GAFFNEY, S.C.  – Chelsea Borrino (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) scored two goals and dished out three assists, but the No. 11 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (3-1) fell on the road today to No. 3 Limestone (8-1), 11-7.

Limestone got off to a quick start and led 8-1 at the halftime break.

The Lady Eagles would not go down quietly however, and LHU mounted a second half comeback.

The Haven outscored Limestone 6-3 in the second half.

Borrino led the way with five points on the afternoon.

Kelly Hamilton (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) netted two goals for LHU.

Jessica Pandolf (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North), Jenna Dingler (Washington Township, N.J./Washington Township) and Taylor Klunk (Forest Hill, Md./Bel Air) each scored one goal in the game.

Pandolf also dished out one assist.

Haven goalie Chrissy Baffuto (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) made three saves in the loss.

Lock Haven returns to action on Wednesday (March 27), when LHU opens up PSAC play on the road at Shippensburg at 4 p.m.
