Bald Eagles blanked in non-conference action against Mansfield, 5-0

Haven back in action Saturday, April 20 when they host Pitt-Johnstown

Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University baseball team (13-17) was shutout today at home by PSAC East opponent Mansfield University (16-19), 5-0 in a non-conference game at Foundation Field.

Mansfield led 1-0 through three innings of play and the Mounties added three more runs in the fourth.

The Mounties were led by pitcher Quin Taylor, who allowed just two hits on his way to a complete-game shutout.

Ryan Henritzy (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) and Dakota Roof (Towanda, Pa./Towanda) had the only two hits for LHU on the afternoon.

Garrett Shnyder (Montgomery, Pa./Montgomery) started on the mound for The Haven.  Shnyder allowed five runs in 5.1 innings of work.

Aaron Lidgett (Morrisdale, Pa./West Branch), Alec Jacob (Newtown, Pa./Pennsbury) and Nick Cummings (Akron, N.Y./Akron) combined to throw 3.2 innings of scoreless relief for The Haven.

The Bald Eagles are back in action on Saturday, April 20 when LHU hosts Pitt-Johnstown for a non-conference doubleheader at 1 p.m.  Saturday's games are a part of Crimson & White Weekend at LHU.  A number of events will be held on campus throughout the weekend.  For more information on Crimson & White Weekend, click here
