#8 Lacrosse rolls past Kutztown, 14-2; Haven remains undefeated in PSAC play

Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa.  – The No. 8 Lock Haven University lacrosse team got goals from eight different players, including a hat trick from Rachel Ward (Fishers, Ind./Bishop Chatard) and the Lady Eagles cruised past visiting Kutztown University, 14-2 for their eighth straight win.

Lock Haven (11-1, 8-0 PSAC) jumped out to a 9-0 halftime lead over KU (2-12, 1-8 PSAC) as The Haven moved to a perfect 8-0 in PSAC play.

Emily Cilla (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park), Jessica Pandolf (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North), Jenna Dingler (Washington Township, N.J./West Morris Central) and Taylor Klunk (Forest Hill, Md./Bel Air) all scored twice for the Lady Eagles.

Lock Haven's defense was tremendous and only allowed eight Kutztown shots. KU didn't score until the last 10 minutes of the match as the Lady Eagles pressure forced 23 Golden Bear turnovers.

Chrissy Baffuto (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) made three saves on the way to her 11th win of the year.

Lock Haven is right back at it tomorrow (Sunday, April 21) when the Lady Eagles host rival and fifth-ranked West Chester at 4 p.m.
