Klahold adds three-point match as LHU opens PSAC play with win

Box Score JOHNSTONW, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team opened PSAC play today at Pitt-Johnstown with a 6-0 win.

Lock Haven (2-0, 1-0 PSAC) got goals from four different players and goalie Brad Sumski (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin)  made two saves in the shutout of UPJ (0-2, 0-1 PSAC).

Troy Amspacher (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) and Jacob Oldaker (Elliottsburg, Pa./West Perry) both scored twice and Asher Klahold (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) added a goal and two assists.

Freshman Carson O'Neill (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) also netted his first career goal for Lock Haven. 

Amspacher scored Lock Haven's only goal of the first half in the 20th minute, but the Bald Eagles exploded for five goals in the second.

Lock Haven returns to PSAC action tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 14) at Seton Hill (3 p.m.).
