Box Score EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team shutout No. 6 East Stroudsburg University today, 1-0 on the road, handing the Lady Warriors their first loss of the season.

Lock Haven (2-3-1, 2-3-1 PSAC) jumped on top in the sixth minute, when Jamie Hunter (Marietta, Pa./Donegal) put The Haven up on her second goal of the season.

Hunter's early goal proved to be all the Lady Eagles needed for the upset, as the defense stifled the ESU offense all game.

LHU goalkeeper Dana Wozniak (Blackstone, Mass./Mount St. Charles Academy) was sensational all night for The Haven.  She tallied nine saves on her way to her second shutout of the season.

Today's win marked LHU's second straight win over a ranked opponent.  The Lady Eagles downed West Chester, 3-2 on October 13 when the Lady Rams were ranked No. 2 in the NSCAA Poll.

LHU returns to action next Saturday (September 28), when The Haven hosts Edinboro at Hubert Jack Stadium.  Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
