Box Score ERIE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team opened the 2013 season with a 1-1 double-overtime draw tonight at Mercyhurst University.

The Lady Eagles (0-0-1, 0-0-1 PSAC) and the Lakers (0-0-1, 0-0-1 PSAC) played 110 minutes, but neither team could break the tie in the end. The match marked the season and conference opener for both teams.

The host-Lakers knotted the game at 1-1 in the 75th on a goal from Linnea Laitinen.

The two second-half goals proved to be the game's only scoring.

LHU goalie Dana Wozniak (Blackstone, Mass./Mount St. Charles Academy) was brilliant in goal and finished with 13 saves.

Lock Haven head coach Lynnette Reitz, who was making her head-coaching debut was pleased with the team's effort, particularly in the second half and in both overtime periods.
