LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's soccer team dropped a non-conference match today to visiting West Virginia Wesleyan, 3-0.
The Bobcats (5-3-1) got a pair of goals from Jordan Halpern as the Bald Eagles (4-5-1) dropped their fourth straight.
Halpern put West Virginia Wesleyan up 1-0 in the 15
th minute and he made it 2-0 in 45
th minute.
Alex Zidani capped the scoring in the 89
th minute after scoring off a breakaway.
Troy Amspacher (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) was the spark for Lock Haven. He finished with three shots and created several good scoring chances.
Zach Hommey (Woodsboro, Md./Walkersville) turned in a workmanlike performance from his fullback position.
Lock Haven returns to action on Saturday, October 11 at Gannon at 7:30 p.m.
