LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's basketball team used a balanced offensive attack and a sensational defensive effort as the Lady Eagles cruised past Seton Hill, 61-46 today in PSAC Crossover action.

Marrysa Moyer (Altoona, Pa./Mansfield Univ.) was one of four Lady Eagles (2-7, 2-4 PSAC) in double-figures scoring. She netted 14 points on the way to a strong double-double, while also pulling in 12 rebounds.

Lock Haven's defense held Seton Hill (5-6, 2-4 PSAC) to a 30 percent shooting-clip from the field.

J.J. Hilliard (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) added 14 points, five rebounds and five assists in an all-around sensational game.

Sami Lane (Montoursville, Pa./Loyalsock) and
Rachael McDaniel (Plainfield, N.J./California (Pa.) Univ.) both netted 11 points apiece in the win, rounding out Lock Haven's double-digit scorers.

The Lady Eagles jumped all over Seton Hill early and raced out to a 15-point lead at halftime. LHU led 35-20 at the break, thanks to a 43 percent shooting percentage from the field in the first 20 minutes of play.

LHU led by as many as 24 midway through the second the way to the big win at home.

The Lady Eagles will close out the 2014 calendar year on New Year's Eve (Wednesday, December 31) with a 1 p.m. home, non-conference game vs. Post University.
