LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Marrysa Moyer (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) dominated the glass with 12 rebounds and she added 12 to points to lead another balanced scoring effort for the Lock Haven University women's basketball team (3-7), who pushed past visiting Post University (3-9) today in non-conference action.
 
Emily Daugherty (Laughlinton, Pa./Ligonier Valley) netted 11 points, Kirsti Bair (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) scored 10 and Sami Lane (Montoursville, Pa./Loyalsock) chipped in with nine.
 
Lane also had four assists in the win, which was Lock Haven's second straight.
 
Lock Haven led by seven at the break, 25-18, thanks to a strong first half from Moyer, who nearly had the double-double after 20 minutes.
 
Moyer was 4-of-5 from the field in the opening 20 minutes and she grabbed nine rebounds to go along with her eight points.
 
The Lady Eagles, who have won three of their last four games open the 2015 portion of their schedule in a hurry and host nationally-ranked California (Pa.) University on Saturday in the first of two home Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Crossover games. On Saturday, January 3, LHU hosts No. 9 Cal at 1 p.m. before hosting Slippery Rock University on Sunday, Jan. 4 at 1 p.m.
