WILMINGTON, Del. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (3-7) dropped a non-conference contest at Goldey-Beacom College today, 54-51. 
The Bald Eagles scored a season-low 17 first half points and trailed Goldey-Beacom (4-8), 27-17 at halftime. 
LHU clawed its way back in the second half and was able to take the lead late in the game, 49-48 with 2:15 to play.  Goldey-Beacom responded however, as the Lightning pushed past the Bald Eagles in the final minutes to secure the win. 
Theo West (Philadelphia/Kensington) had a monster day for LHU.  West scored a team-high 17 points and pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds in the game, tallying his second straight double-double. 
Wali Hepburn (Philadelphia/Neumann-Goretti) scored 16 points to go along with five rebounds and four steals. 
Nate Walters (Reedsville, Pa./Indian Valley) netted nine points and pulled down 11 rebounds on the day. 
The Bald Eagles were held to just 29.4% shooting from the field, their lowest percentage of the season. 
Joey Getz connected on four three-pointers and scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Lightning. 
The Bald Eagles get right back at it this weekend when they host a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Crossover home games. LHU hosts California (Pa.) University on Saturday, January 3 at 3 p.m. and hosts Slippery Rock University on Sunday, Jan. 4 at 3 p.m.
