#6 Lacrosse cruises past Edinboro, 15-6

Lady Eagles snap two-game skid with 15-6 conference win at Edinboro

Box Score EDINBORO, Pa. – The No. 6 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (3-2, 1-1 PSAC) snapped a rare two-game skid with a dominating 15-6 road-win at Edinboro University (3-2, 1-1 PSAC) today (Tuesday, March 25) in PSAC action.
 
LHU got off to a quick start and led 8-1 at the break.
 
Taylor Klunk (Forest Hill, Md./Bel Air) and Jessica Pandolf (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) paved the way for the offense. Klunk and Pandolf combined for eight goals with each scoring four.
 
Cheslea Borrino (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) had another big game as the Lady Eagles' playmaker. She finished with a goal and a game-high five assists.
 
Chrissy Baffuto (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) stood strong in goal for Lock Haven, making six saves.
 
Christina Hawkins (Havre de Grace, Md./Harve de Grace) led Lock Haven tough defensive effort on the way to the victory.
 
The Lady Eagles return to action on Thursday (March 27) at 4 p.m. when they host Lake Erie in The Haven's 2014 home-opener.
