Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Chelsea Borrino (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) and
Jessica Pandolf (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) combined for 15 points to lead the No. 6 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (5-2, 2-1 PSAC) past visiting Seton Hill (7-3, 2-3 PSAC) 15-7 today in conference action.
Pandolf netted a game-high seven goals, while Borrino added four. Both players tallied two assists.
Kelly Hamilton (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) added two goals, while
Shannon Bissnette (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford) and
Jenna Dingler (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) each scored once.
Lock Haven dominated Seton Hill form the start, jumping out to an early 5-1 lead, just 10 minutes into the contest. LHU led 7-4 at the break and outshot Seton Hill 34-12.
Seton Hill's freshman goalie Meghan Hollar kept the Griffins in the game with 14 saves as she felt the pressure of The Haven's potent offensive attack.
Lock Haven's defense forced five turnovers on the way to the win and LHU held a slight 17-13 advantage in ground balls.
Lock Haven returns to action on Tuesday, April 1 at 4 p.m. when the Lady Eagles host No. 15 Bloomsburg University.
