Box Score ERIE, Pa. – Rachel Ward (Indianapolis/Bishop Chatard) fueled the Lady Eagles attack with a season-high six goals and the No. 8 Lock Haven University lacrosse team rolled past host Gannon University for LHU's 10
th straight win.
Lock Haven (12-2, 8-1 PSAC) got goals from six different players and led 8-3 at halftime on the way to the win over Gannon (7-8, 4-6 PSAC).
Chelsea Borrino (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) once again orchestrated the offense, finishing with five assists and a goal. She now has 56 assists on the season.
Kelly Hamilton (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) scored a hat trick, while both
Jessica Pandolf (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) and
Jenna Dingler (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) added two goals.
Lock Haven held a 15-7 advantage in draw controls and outshot Gannon 36-14.
The Lady Eagles got another strong defensive effort from everyone in the lineup, forcing 16 turnovers. Goalie
Chrissy Baffuto (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) made five saves in her 12
th win of the season.
Lock Haven returns home for a 3 p.m. contest tomorrow (Saturday, April 19) vs. Shippensburg University.
